The better choice for Open MRI – Open Wide-Bore MRI

Our focus is on the patients’ overall experience, by combining patient comfort and investing in advanced technology that can provide the best information to your doctor to help guide your care.

What Is A Wide-Bore Open MRI?

All of our MRI’s are wide-bore open magnets, either 3T or 1.5T, which compared to an “Open MRI” scanner, delivers superior image quality in less time. Where most “open” scanners are only .3 – 1.2T magnets and the lack of strength means the scan is of lower quality and takes longer to obtain. 1.5T magnets are the standard of care.

Our scanners are very helpful for claustrophobic patients by providing a very calming, comfortable experience. They feature a roomy opening which has up to a 40% larger opening than traditional MRI scanners, making it perfect for those who may be anxious, claustrophobic or have mobility issues.

What is Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)?

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is an advanced diagnostic procedure that can make very detailed images of internal bodily structures without the use of X-rays or any other form of radiation. MR images are produced through the use of a large and powerful magnet, radio waves and a computer. From high-resolution extremity imaging, breast imaging, head, and spine imaging, to our small extremity coil—we’ve got you covered.

What is Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA)?

Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA) is an exciting field that uses MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) technology to do more than picture the static structures of the body. MRA one of the safest, most comfortable imaging techniques available creates multi-dimensional images of the inside of your body, such as your heart, brain or blood vessels.

One of our MRI Schedulers will contact you prior to your exam. It is important that you speak with them for specific information about your exam.
