More Than Mammograms

For many women, an annual mammogram is, hopefully, the extent of their breast health needs. But every woman is unique. When you need more, we want to be there for you. From breast ultrasounds and MRIs to biopsies, Derry Imaging provides the services you need as well as a dedicated Breast Health Navigator to be a caring guide and source of support.

Early detection of breast cancer saves lives! The American College of Radiology (ACR) recommends all women aged 40 and older have a mammogram every year. You can schedule a mammogram online with Derry Imaging.

Derry Imaging Is a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence

We’re committed to providing the most advanced technology at a fraction of the cost of hospital services—because every woman deserves the best quality, without compromise.

As part of that commitment, we’ve achieved accreditation with the American College of Radiology (ACR) as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence.

We have radiologists on site for your peace of mind who are board certified in diagnostic radiology and fellowship trained in areas of breast imaging, women’s imaging and interventional radiology. They have been serving New Hampshire communities since 1979 and were the first radiology group in New Hampshire to perform breast biopsies.

Our Breast Health Services:

Our Advanced Breast Technology

The first system to offer superior 3D technology that allows for earlier detection, clearer images and fewer unnecessary biopsies. Our sites with this equipment have recently been upgraded to include the Clarity HD High-Resolution 3D allowing the system to generate “SmartSlices” making the review and interpretation of the mammogram more efficient.

In addition to superior 3D technology, allows review and interpretation of the mammograms to be more efficient because of the new systems capability to process and generate what the manufacturer calls “SmartSlices.” Utilizing this technology is not only a time savings, but more importantly  a reduction in the radiation dose to the patient.

Provides greater resolution and image quality leading to better visualization of abnormalities and improved detection of lesion.

Uses artificial intelligence to help the technologist monitor image quality every time, ensuring you receive the best mammogram possible.

Automatically and objectively determines the volume of dense tissue in your breast, helping our radiologists identify women who may benefit from additional screening, such as ultrasound or breast MRI.

A more compassionate biopsy experience. Hologics’ Brevera system with Corlumina imaging technology streamlines the entire biopsy process from start to finish, providing you with a more comfortable, faster and less invasive experience.

What Our Partners Have to Say

Derry Imaging has always been a great group to work with.  As a breast surgeon, it is reassuring that they are always on the cutting edge of technology, providing advanced multi-modality and multi-specialty breast imaging services. Exceptional screening leads to earlier breast cancer detection rate and improved patient outcomes.  Patients can feel confident they are receiving the leading breast care available right in their community.

The patient care at Derry Imaging is excellent, from the radiologists to the schedulers, but the real superstars are the breast health navigators, Deb and Erika. They are the cornerstone of the team making it happen—coordinating the care, following up, getting things scheduled quickly for these patients that are often very anxious. Their dedication to the patients is extraordinary and I feel fortunate to work with such remarkable people.

The costs are consistently lower than other facilities in the region. Our patients appreciate how easy it is to determine up front what their out-of-pocket charge will be, whether they use insurance or pay cash.
