Our breast imaging quality program uses three complementary technologies to help us continually improve:
- Volpara Live: Provides real-time feedback to technologists during mammography exams, allowing them to make adjustments to positioning and compression while the patient is still in the exam room. Since implementation, technical callbacks have decreased to less than 0.5% of exams, according to Derry Imaging’s clinical operations team.
- Volpara Analytics: Measures image quality and helps our team monitor performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and maintain consistent standards across technologists and locations.
- Volpara Scorecard: Provides objective breast density measurements to support more consistent reporting and clinical decision-making.
